Our family landed like a hurricane with our 18 picture boards, dozens of framed photos, food, drinks, laughter and tears. They were available in the wee hours of the morning. They asked, ASKED, me if I wanted my mom’s face covered, for which I was grateful. She was able to be escorted from her place of residence one last time to their funeral home with dignity. I knew they would take the very best care of her while she was in their care. I was even able to read the last card she received to her and well as say goodbye at the funeral home. Wickliffe is so lucky to have a wonderful, young Italian man carrying on the wonderful work of Louis Orlando. We were all raised with Louie taking care of all our loved ones and now I am proud to say that my dear friend, Anthony Previte, has taken his profession on to follow in Louie's footsteps. I, long ago knowing Anthony, thoughtful, personal feelings for people that he would be my Funeral Director & Embalmer and put in my will that no one was to take care of me but Anthony. When our mother was young, she was very beautiful. Anthony made our 97 year old mother look 25 years younger. Her makeup was superb, her hair and instead of laying down in the casket, she was laying high on a pillow. Anthony did a remarkable job and we were proud of how she looked.
