Robert "Bob" Allen Nowak

Robert (Bob) Allen Nowak, 79, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2026, surrounded by his family and embraced by his devoted wife, Ginger.
Bob was a proud veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty and love for his country.

For most of his professional career, Bob worked as a sales representative for 3M, where his natural gift for conversation and genuine interest in people made him not just successful, but beloved by clients and colleagues alike. He had the rare ability to talk to anyone, at any time, for any length of time.

As an avid music lover, Bob delighted in creating personalized mix CDs for clients and friends, carefully curating songs he thought they would enjoy.

An active man who valued friendship and camaraderie, Bob spent many years playing racquetball with his friends, followed by long lunches filled with laughter and cigars. In recent years, he discovered pickleball and embraced both the sport and the vibrant community that came with it.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 53 years; his children, Bob (Kate) and Stephanie (Tony); his brother John (Reggie); his sister-in-law Nancy; his brother-in-law Dennis, many nieces and nephews; and five cherished grandchildren: Maura, Gavin, Alex, Natalie, and Liam, who knew him as a proud and loving Papa.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Bob’s honor at a later date.
