Robert F. Ernst, Jr.

Robert F. Ernst, Jr., age 78, of Wickliffe, passed away September 15, 2025. He was born January 21, 1947 in Cleveland, OH to the late Robert F., Sr. and Edith (nee Cully) Ernst.

Robert was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed woodworking and making many decorations for the holidays, especially for Halloween. Loved watching M*A*S*H, Bonanza and Gunsmoke, and also loved attending many of his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Robert was the beloved husband of the late Nadine (nee Tiskur); dearest father of Melissa (John) Bradford, Roberta (Jimmy) Truckly, Dawn (Dan, deceased) Brock-Thompson, Rich (Tricia) Ernst and Dennis Ernst; devoted grandfather of Jacob and Jason Smith, and eight other grandchildren and great grandfather of four; dear brother to his brother, Richard (Barb, deceased) Ernst and sisters, Carolyn Rastall, Kathy (Dan) Andre and Irene (Jean) Bernard (both deceased).

The family will receive friends at THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE, ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21ST FROM 1:00 TO 4:00 P.M. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH on Monday, September 22nd at 12:45 P.M.
