Mass of Christian Burial for Richard N. Ricchino, age 90, of Willowick and formerly of Collinwood, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Holy Redeemer Church, 15712 Kipling Ave., Cleveland, where the family will have visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass. Richard passed away peacefully November 9, 2022, with his family by his side and has now gone to join his beloved wife, Dolores.
Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a longtime parishioner of Holy Redeemer Church. He retired from the U.S Postal Service as a mail carrier after 30 years of service.
Richard loved the Collinwood neighborhood and his Italian heritage. He loved all sports, especially football, horse racing, camping, playing cards, but above all, he loved spending time with his family.
Richard was the beloved husband of the late Dolores (nee Sanzo); dearest father of Michael (Mary Ann), Dino (Connie Jacob), Renee Welniak and Robin Baucco; devoted grandfather of Nicholas (Katie) Ricchino, Deanna (Jacob) McKenrick, Dino Ricchino, Roselee (Vincent) Bronson, Michelle (Roman White) Ricchino, AnnMarie Ricchino, Andrew Reinholz, Christopher (Nicole Fisher) Welniak, Danielle (Ernesto) Guevara, Dominick Welniak, Alexandra Baucco, Anthony (Christi) Baucco, Raechel Baucco, Benjamin Baucco and great grandfather of eleven; dearest brother-in-law of JoAnn Sanzo; dear brother of the following deceased: Philomena Dinunzio, Erma DeBaltzo, Mike Ricchino, Anna Iosue, Madeline Rinaldi and Dolores Tucci; loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Richard will be laid to rest in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp. following mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard’s memory to Holy Redeemer Church.
