Paula Jo DiDona (nee Fisher), age 74, passed away quietly on November 6, 2023, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. Paula was born on April 24, 1949 in Cleveland, OH. She attended St Philomena’s and Shaw High School. Paula married the love of her life Tony DiDona on June 17, 1967. Tony and Paula raised their children Anthony and Nikki in the Collinwood area and attended church at Holy Redeemer Parish, the same church where they were married at.
Paula was a devoted wife to Tony for 53 years, caring for him during sickness and in health. She was a loving mother to Anthony and Nikki. Over the years Paula worked at a print shop, styled wigs, made drinks at the Allegro Club, and hospitality at Days Inn.
Her most enjoyed hobby was crafting, especially with her sister Linda. Multiple craft shows and even a craft store, “Just For You”. Paula’s creativity had no bounds, there are countless necklaces, bracelets, crafts, and ceramics given to her family and friends. Even donated to the Cancer Center at Hillcrest.
Her attitude during her sickness was an inspiration to everyone. Paula was her happiest when she was with her family and taking care of them. You could expect to see multiple Christmas cookies and a ton of food on her table. She was always very generous and welcoming to anyone in her home.
Paula is survived by her treasured children Anthony Paul DiDona, Sr. & Nicole Lynn DiDona-Smith (Dustin); her cherished grandchildren Anthony Paul DiDona, Jr. (Hillary), Briana Marie Worley (Matthew), Tyler Eugene Smith, Pilot Jason Smith and her enduring legacy is best represented by her great grandchildren, Claire Worley, Cecilia DiDona, Noah Worley and Gabriel DiDona; she is also survived by her siblings, Martin Marche’, Eric Matuschek and Angie Marche`.
A Funeral Service will be held at THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE, ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10TH AT 6:00 PM WHERE THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS FROM 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Inurnment will be in Lake View Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paula’s memory to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation P.O. BOX 931517 Cleveland, OH 44193 to help with Cancer Research.
