Paul S. Sharaba

Mass of Christian Burial for Paul S. Sharaba, age 81, of Mentor, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Holy Redeemer Church 15712 Kipling Ave., Cleveland. Paul passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family March 18, 2024. He was born November 8, 1942 in Cleveland, OH to the late Anthony and Pasqualena (nee Christopher) Sciarabba.

Paul was born in Cleveland’s Little Italy neighborhood on Random Rd. before moving to the Collinwood neighborhood where he attended Holy Redeemer School and graduated from Collinwood High School. He worked as a concrete foreman for the City of Cleveland and retired after 36 years.

Paul was an avid golfer where he won many awards in the Italian-American Open in Naples, FL, loved horse racing and going to the racetrack, enjoyed the outdoors and music. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who were his greatest joy in life.

Paul was the beloved husband of Ginetta (nee Gimmellie); dearest father of Joseph (Jena), Paul and John; devoted grandfather of Alyssa and Joseph; dear brother of Nicholas (deceased) (Rosemarie) Sciarabba; dear son-in-law of the late John and Julie (nee Dietz) Gimmellie; dear brother-in-law of John (Amy) Gimmellie, Anthony (Linda) Gimmellie, Cindy (Bob) Johnson, Terry Gimmellie (Brooks Hull) and of the late Debbie Gimmellie; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE, ON SUNDAY, MARCH 24TH FROM 2:00 TO 6:00 PM. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery following the mass.
