Norman E. Mahoney, Jr., age 81, of Wickliffe, went on to his next great adventure on May 14, 2023. Norman was born on August 4, 1941, in Cleveland, OH to the late Norman, Sr. and Adine (nee Guy).

He was a member of the Dodge Brothers Club, Antique American Racing Association, and the Ohio Gun Collectors Association. Norm was the youngest antique dealer in Ohio in 1957 at age 16.
He built antique cars, a “big rig” GMC truck to haul steel, and a modified 1953 White Super Power truck. About five years later he built a 1924/25 Dodge Brothers two-man dirt track race car sponsored by Mahoney’s Lunch and called the Blue Plate Special. Norm was a lover of dogs, raising 18 pups over the course of his life. He was also a wonderful cook.
