Lulubelle Brown (nee Murphy), age 81, of Wickliffe and formerly of Columbia, SC, passed away peacefully November 11, 2023. Lulubelle was born on November 16, 1941 in Kenmawr, PA to the late William and Margaret May (nee Mixter) Murphy.
Lulubelle was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 3863 in Eastlake as well as a member of the Eastlake Senior Center.
She loved anything Elvis and had many Elvis collectables that she acquired throughout the years. Lulubelle loved to travel – going on many bus trips, and also loved family gatherings, especially during the holidays and family reunions. She was a big family person overall and enjoyed the quality time that she spent with her grandchildren as well as with her brothers and sisters.
Lulubelle was the beloved wife to her late first husband, James Waddell and her late second husband, Marion Brown; dearest mother of Arthur Waddell, Roseann (Terry) Garrison, Keith Waddell and of the late Jimmie Waddell, Anita May Waddell, David Waddell and Tammy Phillips; dearest mother to her special daughter and caretaker, Lisa Barnes; devoted grandmother and great grandmother to her many grandchildren; dear sister of Juanita (Robert, deceased) Gates and of the late James Murphy, William (Lillian, deceased) Murphy, Florence Murphy, Seth (Marie, deceased) Murphy and John (Gussie) Murphy; dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Wednesday, November 15th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 16th at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
