Lola B. (Moore) Velotta

Funeral Services for Lola B. Velotta (nee Moore), age 82, of Willowick, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens 11521 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland, in the mausoleum chapel. Lola passed away peacefully May 18, 2022 and she was born on January 7, 1940 in Wayland, KY to the late Henry and Belle Moore.

Lola retired from the General Motors Company after working for 28 years at the Fisher Body Plant. She enjoyed gardening, making quilts, baking, making fudge, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and being at home.

Lola was the beloved wife of 46 years to Anthony; dearest mother of Donald (JoAnn) Thompson, Michael (Linda) Thompson and Samantha (Jim) De Frank; devoted grandmother of Nycole DeFranco, Michael, Matthew, Bryan and Nicholas Thompson, Natalie Rogers, Isabella and Anthony De Frank and great grandmother of Amelia Thompson; dear sister of Anita Robinson and of the following deceased: Loraine Robinson, Rexene Caudill, Lois Moore and Paul Dean Moore.
