Leslie G. Conrad

Funeral Services for Leslie Conrad, age 81, of Willoughby, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at New Promise Church 8761 Euclid-Chardon Rd., Kirtland (Family and Friends Please Meet at Church). Les passed away peacefully November 12, 2023 at Brookdale Assisted Living & Memory Care in Wickliffe. He was born on March 22, 1942 in Cleveland, OH to the late Walter and Christine (nee Gnidovec).

Les was a graduate of Wickliffe High School and played in the school’s sports programs. He was a hard worker, who for 49 years, worked at, then owned Kaufman’s Radiator Service in Wickliffe. After selling the business and retiring, he worked part-time at O’Reilly Auto Parts for 10 years.

He attended New Promise Church, was an avid bowler, drag racer, dairyman and gentleman farmer. Les loved talking with his friends and family. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He is at peace now, with his Lord and Savior.

Les was the beloved husband of 59 years to Kathy (nee Wancheck); loving father of Jason; cherished grandfather of Thomas Graves (deceased) and Lucas Conrad; dear brother of Connie (Bill) Widlicka.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Friday, November 17th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leslie’s memory to New Promise Church.
