We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home
On Tuesday, May 3, 2022, Lenora M. Layne (nee Johnson), passed peacefully from this world and she is reunited with the love of her life Paris, who preceded her in death in 2019. Lenora was born on October 9, 1927 in Monteagle, TN.
Lenora was one with whom only her faith was more important than her family. You knew you had come home when you walked in the back door. She will always be remembered in so many ways by those who knew and loved her. When we think of sharing a meal of lasagna with family on a Sabbath afternoon or when we do something simple, like make a glass of pink milk or something more difficult like complete a race, we will see her in our memories and through the abundance of pictures she took. To show us her love and support, she saved everything her family gave her and attended events that were important to us with her camera ready for all of it.
She made time to take the grandkids out for their birthdays to make it a special time for them. Her sons and their spouses, Tim (Belinda, deceased), David (Faye), Paul (Tammy), her 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren will have these and so many other memories.
There will be a small family memorial service on June 29th where Lenora and Paris will be brought together to Rest in Peace.
