Joudat Said

Mass of Christian Burial for Joudat Said, age 90, of Willowick, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at St. Maron Church 1245 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland. Joudat passed away June 23, 2024. He was born July 7, 1933 in Syria.

Joudat was a graduate of Lakeland Community College and retired from Lincoln Electric. He loved gardening, cooking Middle Eastern foods for his family and friends, but he especially loved watching baseball with his grandson.

Joudat was the beloved husband of 57 years to Karen (nee Koepke); dearest father to his daughters, Noelle Said-Salloum and Stephanie DiLiberto; devoted grandfather of Jody, Mattie and Gabriel Said; dear brother to Said Ibrahim and sisters, Mona Ibrahim and Seham Dawson; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews; dear cousin to many;

He was preceded in death by his sons, Joudat, Jr. “Jodie” and Matthew; brothers, Badr, Jaber, Joseph, Maschour and sister, Maschoura.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Wednesday, July 31st from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Inurnment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp. at a later date.
