Joanna M. (Coletto) Collier

Mass of Christian Burial for Joanna M. Collier (nee Coletto), age 93, formerly of Wickliffe, will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Noel Church 35200 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills. Mrs. Collier passed away January 3, 2022 and was born on August 28, 1928 in Cleveland Hts., OH to the late Anthony and Josephine (Piccarillo) Coletto.

Joanna was a former resident of East Cleveland prior to moving to Wickliffe in 1959. She retired from the Ohio State Liquor Control in 1989 after working there for 11 years and worked prior at Willoughby-Eastlake Schools for 10 years.

Joanna enjoyed baking, traveling and camping. She spent many years dedicated to taking care of her husband Ron. After her husband Ron passed, Joanna started Wickliffe Widows Ladies Group.

She was recently a parishioner of St. Noel Church and was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church where she was active with the parish festival, served as a lay minister, helped with Pre Cana and member of the Mt. Carmel Society and the Altar and Rosary Guilds. Joanna was also a member of the Secular Franciscans and the Lost Nation Sylvaneers Camping Club.

Joanna was the beloved wife of the late Ronald; dearest mother of Bruce (Cheryl) and Kathy (Terry) Babic; devoted grandmother of five and great grandmother of nine; devoted dog mom to Precious; dear sister of Anthony Coletto and to the late Gloria Takacs.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Sunday, January 9th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
