James N. Hula

James N. Hula, age 74, of Willoughby Hills and formerly of Wickliffe, passed away August 6, 2021. He was born on December 11, 1946 in Cleveland, OH to the late Norman and Janet (nee Duff).

James was a member of F.O.P Western Lake Co. #116. He served 22 years with the Wickliffe Police Department. Prior to being with Wickliffe Police, James served with the Euclid Auxiliary.

James was the dearest father of Debbie (Craig) Murray-Brown, Janet Hula, Wendy (Bob) Easter and Ashley (Jason) Thomas; devoted grandfather of Brandon Murray, Ashlee Gorjup, Skylar Brown, Robert Brown, Samantha DeFilippo, Brytni DeFilippo, Rikki Hula, Preston Stillisano, Audrianna Lopez, Avalynn Lopez and great grandfather of Kayla Kirk-Murray, Cameron Gorjup, Harper Gorjup, Baby Brown, Jackson Miller and Rayella Dotzler.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his twin brother Robert.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Thursday, August 19th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Private inurnment will be in Mentor Cemetery.
