Irene J. (Ambro) Balash

Mass of Christian Burial for Irene J. Balash (nee Ambro), age 96, of Willowick, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2020 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Mrs. Balash passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. She was born on April 25, 1924 to the late John and Mary (nee Kolasky) Ambro in Cambridge, OH.

Irene was the beloved wife of the late Edward P. Balash, Sr. who passed away on June 18, 2009; She was a loving mother to her four children, Arlene Balash, Edward Balash, Jr., Linda (Greg) Olson and her youngest son William “Will” Balash who preceded her in death on March 12, 2020.

She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kathleen, Beverly, Barbara and Jack, Jr. of the Briggs Family and Brenda and William of the Bart Family and Edward Paul, son of Edward, Jr.; her great grandchildren Eve, Anjelica, Chelsea, Johnny, Danielle, Jack III, Luey and her 12 great-great grandchildren who will remember Irene’s warmth and kindness;

Dear sister to the late Anna Hallack and a dear aunt to her children Maryanne, John, Jr., Carol Jean, Johanna, Judith and Richard who were always in Aunt Irene’s thoughts and a dear aunt as well to Sister Corita Ambro and Bob.

The family will receive friends at THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE ON MONDAY, JUNE 22, 2020 FROM 10:00 TO 11:30 AM. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
