Elsie A. (Pinch) Gilson

Elsie A. Gilson (nee Pinch), age 104, of Wickliffe, passed away peacefully October 1, 2023. Mrs. Gilson was born on July 2, 1919 in the city of New Castle in Ontario, Canada.

Elsie enjoyed sewing and going to her family’s cottage in Algonquin Highlands in Ontario, Canada.

Elsie was the beloved wife of the late Douglas; dearest mother of Bruce Gilson and Linda (Douglas, deceased) Jones; devoted grandmother of Marcy, Heather and Dr. Brian Jones and great grandmother of Hayden and Kody; dear sister of the late Edward, Horrell, Gerald, William and Alan; dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Thursday, October 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
