Funeral Services for Eleanor V. Gotch (nee King) of Wickliffe, will be 10:00 a.m. Monday June 18th at The Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Mrs. Gotch died peacefully on June 13, 2018 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with ovarian cancer.
Eleanor was born in October of 1940 in Uniontown, PA. She came to Cleveland in 1959 and was employed by Sherwin-Williams where she held several jobs in bookkeeping, secretary and her final years as an accountant in the Treasurer’s Office.
Eleanor loved to bowl and was secretary of her league for many years, a member of the Sherwin-Williams Women’s Club and the Slovak Lodge. She loved playing the lottery and watching her favorite sports teams, the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.
Eleanor is survived by her sister’s Patricia (Dan) Lint, Betty (Edward) Balchick and Nancy (Martin) Nalepka; dear aunt to many nieces and nephews in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Nicholas “Nick”; parents Edward and Anna King (nee Katrenak); brother Fred (Ruth) King and sister Josephine (Richard) Kezmarsky.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday June 17th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
