Mass of Christian Burial for Elaine A. Thornton (nee Burmeister), age 76, of Wickliffe, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Mrs. Thornton passed away October 9, 2021 and she was born on July 24, 1945 in Cleveland, OH to the late Herbert and Bernadine (nee Schaft) Burmeister.

Elaine was the beloved wife of Paul R., Sr.; dearest mother of Paul R., Jr. (Vickie); devoted grandmother of Paul M. (Meagan), Dale R. (Brittany) and great grandmother of Aspen; dear sister of Dale (Paula, deceased) (Annie) Burmeister, Diane (Neal, deceased) Stokes and Hebert (deceased) (Shirley) Burmeister.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Wednesday October 20th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Private burial in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
