Connie M. DePalma (nee Fatica), age 101, of Wickliffe, passed away December 15, 2021. She was born on March 27, 1920 in Oratino, Italy.
Connie was a resident of Wickliffe since 1947, living in Willoughby prior to moving to Wickliffe. She worked at Pine Ridge Country Club for 30 years where she was the kitchen supervisor. Connie was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, a member of the Wickliffe Italian American Club Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Brewer-Tarasco Post 7 Ladies Auxiliary and the Oratinese Club Ladies Auxiliary.
Connie loved cooking and baking and everything that she made was always made from scratch. She enjoyed crocheting and made hundreds of Afghans and prayer shawls, loved playing cards and entertaining, but most all, she loved to be with her family and playing games with her great-grandchildren. She had eight.
Connie was the beloved wife of the late Albert; dearest mother of Linda (Alfred) Zanni, Donna (Louis) Yanick and JoAnn (Albert, deceased) Totarella; devoted grandmother of Adam Zanni, Leann (Alec) Shorte, Christopher (Ivana) Yanick, Matthew (Eryn) Yanick, Michael Totarella and Nicholas Totarella; dear sister of the late Theresa Trivisonno.
The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Tuesday, December 28th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Burial will be in Willoughby Cemetery (At the request of the family, Masks Required).
