Ardeth A. (Heiden) Gunton

A Funeral Service will be held for Ardeth A. Gunton (nee Heiden), age 94, of Willowick, on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Shore Haven Lutheran Church 280 East 222nd St., Euclid. Mrs. Gunton was born on July 23, 1927 in Bay City, MI to the late Edgar and Gertrude (nee Friebe) Heiden.

Ardeth was a member of Shore Haven Lutheran Church where she was involved in the Altar Guild and a member of their bowling league. She volunteered at the Holden Arboretum for many years as well as the Willoughby Community Center, Vineyard Community Church’s food pantry and served as a poll worker during elections.

Ardeth had a passion for gardening whether it was at her own home or at the church and loved listening to classical music.

Ardeth was beloved wife of the late Robert; dearest mother of William (deceased), John Hedrich and James; devoted grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 20; dear sister of Donald (Helen, deceased) Heiden, Doreen (Jack, deceased) Musser, Norm (Dolores) Heiden (both deceased); dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe on Tuesday, November 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, December 1st at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery in Cleveland.
