Antonio "Tony" Colosi

Antonio “Tony” Colosi, age 85, a longtime resident of Wickliffe, passed away June 28, 2024. Tony was born May 29, 1939 in the town of San Pier Niceto in the province of Messina, Sicily in Italy to the late Francesco and Venera (nee Catanese).

He retired from the East Ohio Gas Co. in 1995 after working for 27 years and was also a member of the Gas Workers Union UWUA Local G-555.

Tony had a passion for gardening making homemade wine, traveling to Italy, and his most passionate joy was being able to spend quality with his children and grandchildren.

Tony was the beloved husband of the late Antonia “Annette” (nee Nastasi); dearest father of Frank, Valerie (Darryl) Maher, Carmela (Kevin) Ferry and Maria (Christopher) Teerman; devoted grandfather of Joshua and Dylan Ferry, Kenneth Maher, and Elizabeth and Gabriel Teerman; dear brother of Petronilla (Domenic) Nastasy, and Nunziata (Francesco, deceased) Trimboli of Italy.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8th at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Entombment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp. following the service.
