Anthony Minardo, age 83, passed away early Christmas morning December 25, 2020.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, uncle, and a friend to many. Anthony was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 13, 1937 to the late George and Mary (nee Nigro) Minardo.
Anthony is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Kay (Catherine) Minardo (nee Gugliotta); children, Ronald (Cecilia), Daniel (Nancy) and Jill Grauel (David); grandchildren, Michelle Brys (Daniel), Kelly Grauel, Samantha Mahler (Leif) and Matthew Grauel (Carly Wilson); great grandson, Grayson Brys and he was eagerly looking forward to meeting a new great grandchild in Spring 2021; two sisters-in-law Betty Minardo and Bonnie Minardo; brother-in-law, Thomas Gugliotta; several nephews, nieces, extended family, and many life-long friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael, Leonard, Salvatore (Sam), Joseph, twins Angelo and Joseph, and his sister Carmella (Kay), several nephews, and a niece.
Anthony was an active member of the Collinwood Memories Club and he enjoyed spending time at the Eastlake Senior Center. His greatest joy was spending time with his many friends and especially the family he treasured.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Church 32114 Vine St., Willowick, on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. (The Funeral Mass will be radio broadcasted on 96.3 FM for those who wish to remain in their car and enter the church for Communion only.) (Masks and Social Distancing are required at all times).
