A Memorial Mass for William "Bill" S. Yanesh, Jr., age 66, a lifelong resident of Wickliffe, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Bill passed away peacefully after fighting a six-year courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 11, 1958 in East Cleveland, OH to the late William, Sr. and Angela (nee Chinnici).

Bill worked for Yanesh Bros. Construction for 41 years before retiring in 2017. He was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Bill was an avid gardener as well as an avid golfer who ran a golf league at Pine Ridge Country Club for many years, loved playing bocce, boating, and was truly the life of the party kind of guy who brought joy to many people in his life.

A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center and Lake West Medical Center for all of their wonderful care and support for the past six years.

Bill was the beloved husband of 46 years to Colleen (nee Sidorski); dearest father of Katie, Bill (Rebecca) and Jessica (fiancé Jon Portyrata); dear brother of Chuck (MaryAnn) and Wendy Fishwick (Michael); dear godfather of Adam Giegerich, Toby Sidorski, Ryan Yanesh and Joe Fishwick; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews and who, by the way, was the coolest uncle ever; dear friend to many.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Thursday, July 3rd from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Inurnment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp. at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
