Thomas R. Tumbry, age 96, of Willoughby, passed away July 25, 2020. Mr. Tumbry was born on October 16, 1923 in Cleveland, OH to the late Bartol and Martha (nee Harakovic).

Thomas was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran and a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Wickliffe. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers and Browns. Thomas loved cooking, chocolate and most of all, his grandchildren and sneaking candy to them.

Thomas was the beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Poppy); dearest father of Carol (deceased) (Robert) Manfredonia, William (Patty) Span, Richard Span, Katherine (Joseph) Senart, Alfred (deceased) (Donna) Span, Thomas, Jr. (deceased) (Karen) and Bart (Diane); devoted grandfather of 15 and many great and great-great grandchildren; dear brother of the following deceased: George (Marge), Steve (Agnes) and Helen Kohler.

Private family services and burial to be held. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
