Susan M. Micco (nee Wolanski), age 82, of Willowick, OH, peacefully passed away August 13, 2022, at her granddaughter's home surrounded by loved ones after a quick, brutal battle with renal cancer.

Beloved mother to Stephen (Donna) Micco, Judy Micco, Linda (Jamie, deceased) Nugent and Donna (David) Maxim; Loving grandmother to Janis (Robert) Lamond, Theresa Nugent, Christopher Nugent, Angela (Nick) Clingerman, Lia Maxim, and Allison Voll; Grandma Susie to Mercy Voll; Sister to Michael (Veronica) Wolanski; Aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews; Loved friend & confidant to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Micco and great grandson Emerson Nugent.

Susan worked for GM until retiring and pursuing her dream job. She taught preschool for several years and then finished her school career with noon-aiding at the local school. She loved teaching children and helping them learn and watching them grow. Susan spent her free time sewing, reading, relaxing, shopping or spending time with family. The last 5 years allowed Susan to spend so much time with her family – taco Tuesdays, Sunday dinners, BBQs in the summer. She just enjoyed quality time with her family.

Susan's wishes are simple. She does not want her life mourned but celebrated. She made it a point to let us all know we could only cry for 15 to 20 minutes max.

Family and friends whose lives were touched by Susan are invited to gather at THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE, SATURDAY, AUGUST 20TH FROM 1:00 TO 5:00 PM, PARASTAS SERVICE 4:00 PM.
