A Memorial service for Susan Faye Roper, age 67, of Wickliffe, will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday December 13, 2018 at First United Church of Christ 36721 Lakeshore Blvd., Eastlake. Susan passed away December 5, 2018 and was born on April 20, 1951 in Cleveland, OH.

Susan was a dedicated nurse who tended to many elderly patients over the years. She was loved by her many friends and co-workers.

Susan was a devoted grandmother of two grandsons; dear sister of Nola Zarko and Howard; great aunt to five nieces and two nephews; dear mother-in-law of Gabrielle Petrie; lifelong friends Cheryl Polzer, Jeanne Hamilton and April Closs.

She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Faye (nee Cochran); dearest mother of Timothy and Benjamin; beloved companion Roger Starman; nephew Sam Travarca III;

The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday December 13 from 5:00 p.m. until time of service. Contributions may be made in Susan's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
