Mass of Christian Burial for Stephen J. Butler, age 56, of Wickliffe, will be 12:00 p.m. Friday February 2nd at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29840 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Stephen passed away January 27, 2018 and was born on April 3, 1961 in Euclid, OH.

He was a graduate of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Wickliffe and St. Joseph High School where he was a member of the U.S. Navy Sea Cadets, also educated in electronics and music, which would become his lifelong vocations. Stephen was a self-taught musician who played in the band Elessar who had a recorded album as well.

He was a proud member of the Amateur Radio Relay League and the Knights of Our Lady at Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine in Euclid. Stephen was very devoted to Our Lady.

He is survived by his mother Florence E. (nee Nachtigal) and his brother Anthony. Stephen was preceded in death by his father John Joseph.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
