Sandra Owen (nee McCord), age 85, of Eastlake, passed away peacefully June 18, 2023. She was born September 17, 1937 in Cleveland, OH to the late Frances McCord (nee Zasaczkowski).

Sandra loved reading, traveling and playing Scrabble. She had a great sense of humor and very quick-witted, and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was affectionately referred to as "Sandoon."

Sandra was the loving mother of Sue (Alan) Scipione, Bill (Bridget) Owen, Bob (Gina) Owen and to her dog, Maddie; devoted grandmother of Lyndsay (Ryan) Edwards, Shannon (Mike) Gamiere, Jessica (Ron) Brenner, Clayton (Molly) Owen, Ashley (Tyler) Bohinc, Cortney (Cynthia) Humpherys and great grandmother of Nolan and Norah Edwards, Adriana Brenner, Owen Zimmerman and Jesse Bohinc; dear sister of Glynn (Fran) McCord (both deceased), Fred (Ruth) McCord (both deceased), Bobbie (deceased) (Ed) Marinkov and Jeanne (deceased) (Mike) Mervar; dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Thursday, June 22nd from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Friday, June 23rd at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
