Ruth F. Wood (nee Petsche), age 73, of Wickliffe, passed away April 11, 2021. She was born on July 24, 1947 in Cleveland, OH to the late Harold and Anna (nee Wauben) Petsche.

Ruth was a graduate of Mentor High School. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, playing cards and board games. But most of all, Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Dorsey; loving companion of Bob Peterson; dearest mother of Timothy and Dwain (Denise); devoted grandmother of Timmy (Christine), Bryan, Jude (Marissa), Delaney, Danielle, Megan (deceased) and great grandmother of four; dear sister of Harold (Cheryl) Petsche, Mary (Bruce) Armitage, Patti (Bob) Bricker, Matt Petsche and the late Barb Petsche and Joe Petsche.

Private family services to be held at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Hts.
