Robert W. Mester, age 76, of Wickliffe, passed away peacefully May 19, 2022 with his family at his side. Robert was born on November 9, 1945 in Cleveland, OH to the late Walter and Hazel (nee Gienger).

Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He was a carpenter by trade with Union Local 435 for over 25 years. Robert loved spending time in his garage, tinkering around the house and especially loved the lake and boats.

Robert was the beloved husband of 50 years to Diane (nee Strancar); dearest father of Eric (Laura), Chad (Cindy), Ryan (Beverly) and Kyle (Megan); devoted grandfather of E.J., Peyton, Alexis, Isabella, Chase, Madeline and Kale; dear brother of Jackie (Ed) Charlillo (both deceased), Marilyn (John, deceased) Janco, Sandy (Dave) Davis (both deceased) and Dan (Gayle); dear uncle to many nieces and nephews; dear cousin to many.

The family will receive friends at THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE, ON FRIDAY, MAY 27th FROM 4:00 TO 8:00 PM, WHERE A FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 7:00 PM FOLLOWED BY MILITARY HONORS AT 7:30 PM.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at the American Legion Brewer Tarasco Post 7 located at 29919 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe.
