Robert S. "Bob" Wilder, age 87, passed away Fri, March 24, 2017, at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland surrounded by family. He was born on September 17, 1929 in Cleveland. A resident of Willowick for 45 years, he is survived by his beloved wife Eileen (nee Wamser) of 50 years, his son Robert (Heather) and daughter Christine Cheal (William), granddaughter Kira Cheal, future grandson William Cheal, and sister Virginia Seixas. He is preceded in death by his father, Ernest, mother, Anna (nee Wagner), sisters Katherine, Marcella, Gladys, Irene, Eileen, Dorothy and Shirley, and brothers Glenn, Erney, Arthur and Thomas; dear uncle, great-uncle and friend of many. He owned Bob Wilder Tinning & Roofing for nearly 30 years supporting United Way, the Jewish Federation, and Cleveland Public Library. Services are planned for March 28 at Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home at 29550 Euclid Ave, Wickliffe from 4 to 8 p.m. A Catholic funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. on March 29 at St. Mary Magdalene Church at 32114 Vine St, Willowick. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Kidney Foundation of Ohio, Cleveland Clinic Miller Family Heart & Vascular Institute, and American Diabetes Association.
