Richard J. Trebar, age 58, formerly of Wickliffe, passed away August 12, 2025 after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved son of Mary L. (nee Hiti) Trebar and the late Frank Trebar.

A 1985 graduate of Wickliffe High School, Richard went on to earn his bachelor's degree in business from Kent State University. He dedicated over 20 years of his professional life as an accountant at the Cleveland Clinic, where his commitment and integrity left a lasting impression on his colleagues and the organization.

Richard had a deep love for music and traveling -- passions that brought him great joy throughout his life. Whether attending concerts or exploring new destinations, he found beauty and meaning in experiences that connected him to the world around him. Richard was always eager to share his favorite songs, stories, and life's adventures with those he loved.

Richard's legacy of kindness and compassion will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His gentle nature and generous spirit made him a beloved son, brother, and friend.

Richard was the dear brother of Lorena Deyman (Patrick), Frank L. Trebar (Ann), Valerie Marcinko, and Kathy Modica (Fiancé Larry); devoted uncle of Frank L. Trebar, Jr. (Cassie) and Robert Trebar. Richard also leaves behind his dearest friend Bob Ruth, who has been a big part of Richard's life for many years and remained a constant source of friendship and support.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 PM ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 19TH AT THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE, WHERE THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS FROM 3:00 TO 6:30 PM. Inurnment will be private.
