Richard Allen was born to father, Richard Jameson and mother, Essie Allen Gross on November 26, 1957 in Manhattan, New York.

Richard attended PS33 elementary school and attended School District 75 High School in New York City. He enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with family and friends. He worked as a skilled laborer in factories and construction. Although Richard didn't get the opportunity to bear children of his own, he loved and adored all of his nieces and nephews.

Loving and precious memories will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Essie and his brother Kevin.

Richard will be greatly missed by his stepfather, Yehudah Gross; siblings, Greg, Saundra, Leah, Toni and stepsister Sarah and stepbrother Mosha; aunts, Vera and Charlene; nieces Monique, Nana, Nikki, Domonique and great nieces, Diamond, Jasmin, Yanni and many more; nephews, William, Julian, De'Mari and many more; and a host of many cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Richard's life will be held on Friday, April 26th at 12:00 PM at THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE, WHERE THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS FROM 11:00 AM UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.
