Mass of the Christian Burial for Michael G. Bertt, age 87, a longtime Wickliffe resident, will be at 10 A.M. Friday, January 12, 2018 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29840 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Mr. Bertt died Tuesday, January 9th at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland. Born October 31, 1930 in Cleveland he was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He loved playing bingo, word puzzles and the Cleveland Indians. He is survived by his daughters Deborah (John) Sim and Kathy (Chuck) Barbish; grandchildren Christopher (Crystal) Sim, John Sim, Jr., Kevin (Ashley) Sim, Bobby Sim, William Barbish and eight great grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his wife Elizabeth I. (Pisch) Bertt in 2000; daughter Patricia L.; and son-in-law Mike Bell; and granddaughter Kelly Barbish. Family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110-2602
