Matthew J. Molek, 46, passed away suddenly on February 22, 2017. Originally from Wickliffe, Matthew lived in Willowick for 20 years before moving to Eastlake 3 years ago. Matthew was a 1988 graduate of Wickliffe High School and was a dedicated 26 year employee for the Wickliffe City Schools. He enjoyed his job as an Assistant Custodian, and loved to cook, laugh, entertain, and spend time with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Mary Kay Molek; his amazing 15 year old son, Nathaniel Evan Molek; his wonderful father, Stephen F. Molek Jr.; and his incredible brothers, Michael S. Molek (Gail), and Stephen F. Molek III. He is preceded in death by his dear mother, Philanne Molek. Family will receive friends at Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave in Wickliffe from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2017. There will be a short funeral service following at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in his name for an annual scholarship given to a scholar athlete at Wickliffe High School.
