Funeral services for Mary Ann Surtz, 79, of Wickliffe, will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Mrs. Surtz passed away September 26, 2017, at Western Reserve Hospice in Euclid. Born April 30, 1938, in Cleveland, she was a longtime Wickliffe resident. Mrs. Surtz was an active member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Legion of Mary, secretary of AMLA Lodge 40, past member of the Wickliffe Recreation Department committee, and president of the 50+ Club. She was a past volunteer at Willoughby Little Red School House, Wickliffe Senior Center, served Meals on Wheels for the Lake County Council on Aging and was a member of the Holmes Avenue Pensioners. Survivors are her children, Cynthia (Richard) Wozniak, Joseph (Lori), Cathleen (Andrew) Stover, Constance (Michael) Jones and Brian; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, David, Donald and William; and her sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Surtz. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
