Mass of Christian Burial for Mary E. Hozian (nee Giallorenzo), age 90, formerly of Wickliffe, will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Church 37932 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Mrs. Hozian passed away peacefully August 27, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 5, 1935 in Steubenville, OH to the late Salvatore and Lucy (nee DiLoretto) Giallorenzo.

Mary worked as head of the purchasing department for Lubrizol and retired from there after 32 years. After being retired for one year, she then went on to work for Technical Products part-time for another 20 years, retiring at the age of 86.

Mary was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel when she lived in Wickliffe and was a person of faith and devotion to Our Lady, praying the rosary often. She was also a member of the Lioness Club for many years and served as the president at one time. Even though Mary was a workaholic, she loved spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Joseph; dearest mother of Sharon (Tom) Overturf, Dean, Michael (Mary) and Richard (Jeaninne); devoted grandmother of Kelly, April, Joseph, Brandon (Kylie), Lauren (Gabriel), Nicholas, Sarah and great grandmother of Halle, Devin, Kailey, Evan, Guillianna and Grayson; dear sister of Josephine (Raymond) Jasko (both deceased).

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Tuesday, September 2nd from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Inurnment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp. at a later date.
