Mary Brunetti (nee Diorio) age 95 of Wickliffe, passed away peacefully May 26, 2017 at Mount St. Joseph Rehab Center. Born December 17, 1921, the longtime Wickliffe resident and homemaker extraordinaire also served over 20 years as crossing guard for the Wickliffe Elementary School. Those closest to Mary cherished her family devotion, loving kindness and nearly world-famous lasagna. Survivors include her daughter, Lucille (Brunetti) Bohana; grandchildren, Lisa (Michael) Murton, Carla (Basil) Casella and Tina (David) Abate; great-grandchildren, Giovanni and Gianna Casella and Luke Abate; along with several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Theresa Diorio; husband, Joseph A. Brunetti; brother, John Diorio; and son-in-law John L. Bohana. Family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 2nd at Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Funeral service will immediately follow calling hours. Private burial will be at Mentor Cemetery. Donations in Mary's name may be made to Mount St. Joseph Rehab Center.
