Mass of Christian Burial for Marilyn Galati (nee Charske), age 85, of Wickliffe, will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday February 8, 2019 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Mrs. Galati passed away February 2, 2019 at Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood. She was born on June 20, 1933 in Cleveland, OH.

Mrs. Galati was Wickliffe resident for 65 years and a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 7.

Mrs. Galati worked as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell and worked with her husband and family at Galati's Italian Restaurant, The 306 Lounge and Galati's Pizzeria. She enjoyed Christmas very much and spending every holiday with her family.

Mrs. Galati is survived by her children Mindy East and Becky Galati (Gary Gibson); grandchildren Brandon Sorc, Jeff East and Josh (Callie) East; sister and brother-in-law Lenore and Al D'Angelo; and many nieces and nephews;

She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Galati; daughter Charlaine Galati; great granddaughter June Ann; parents Henry and Theresa (nee Hribar) Charske; father and mother-in-law Joseph and Nellie Galati; son-in-law Jeff East, Sr. and brother and sister-in-law Joe and Linda Sill.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe on Thursday February 7 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and morning prayers at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
