Margaret E.
Mitch
Nov 17, 1949 — May 27, 2026
Margaret E. Mitch (nee Jennison), of Wickliffe, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on November 17, 1949, in Euclid, OH, Margaret’s life was marked by unwavering faith, devoted service, and enduring love for family and community.
For over two decades, Margaret faithfully served as a school bus driver for the Willoughby-Eastlake School District, embodying dedication and care for the children she transported. Above all else, her profound devotion to God shaped her journey. A longtime member of Shore Haven Lutheran Church in Euclid, Margaret and her beloved husband Stephen were united in marriage there in 1967. Following their journey in faith, they embraced Catholicism and celebrated their renewed vows at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Willowick in 1971, where they remained active parishioners for many years before returning to Shore Haven Lutheran Church.
Margaret’s passions extended beyond the walls of worship. An ardent supporter of the Cleveland Indians/Guardians and the Browns, she found joy in Saturdays spent watching UFC events and in the loving companionship of her dogs, Milo and Gwen, along with her cherished cat, Sweetie. She was also a huge and proud MAGA/Trump Supporter.
Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Stephen Mitch; a loving mother to Lois (Mike) Long; and a devoted grandmother to Olivia and Steve Mitch. She was the treasured daughter of the late Wallace and Ann (nee Jepson) Jennison, and step-daughter, of the late Robert Gibson. Margaret also holds a special place in the hearts of her siblings, Carolyn (Emil) Miller and of the late Robert “Corky” McCreary and Sandi Jennison; a dear aunt and great aunt to many.
