Madeline "Maddy" Sharp, age 61, passed away at home on August 11, 2021. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Lake West Hospital for 17 years as well as working for University Hospital Geauga and Hospice of the Western Reserve.

Maddy was preceded in death by her parents Ava (nee Wagner) and Clarence Sharp; grandmother, Leah Sharp. She is survived by her brother James (Susan); her Aunt Carol and Uncle Ernie Noeztel; many cousins and her beloved dog, Jasmine (Jazzy).

She was past president of the Willoughby Chamber of Commerce; volunteered at Willoughby Frontier Days and Art Fest and the Willoughby Car Cruise was her special project.

She was also a former member of the Heights Order of Eastern Star. Maddy was a nursing tutor at Lakeland Community College.

Maddy was compassionate, an avid gardener, loved to crochet, could tell a good story and was an excellent cook. She was always at the ready to help family and friends.

She lived a full life and on her own terms. Maddy will be missed dearly.

A graveside service will be on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery 12316 Euclid Ave., Cleveland (Please Meet at the Euclid Ave. Gate). Pastor Chuck Behrens will be officiating.

A Celebration of Maddy's Life will be at a later date.
