Lillian F. Cherne (nee Tegel), age 97, of Wickliffe, passed away January 12, 2024. Mrs. Cherne was born December 6, 1926 in Cleveland, OH to the late Frank and Frances (nee Smith) Tegel.

Lillian was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking, working in the yard, especially the garden. Her greatest joy in life was spending quality time with her family.

Lillian was the beloved wife of Albert; dearest mother to her sons, Richard (Denise) and Robert (Shirley) and daughter, Lynn (Tim) Breckner; devoted grandmother of Alan, Michelle, Amy and Emily; dear sister of Frank (deceased) (Betty) Tegel, Albert (Rose) Tegel (both deceased) and Bertha (Frank) Mullec (both deceased).

Inurnment will be in Knollwood Cemetery at a later date.
