Mass of Christian Burial for Julia J. Laurich (nee Groom), age 86, formerly of Wickliffe, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Julia passed away peacefully with her family at her side June 4, 2022. She was born on January 18, 1936 in Wadsworth, OH to the late Merril and Julia (nee Adamich) Groom.

Julia resided in Norton, OH for 22 years. She graduated from Kent State University in 1958 and then became a resident of Wickliffe shortly after graduation. Julia retired from Kerr Lakeside, Inc in 2001 after working there for 15 years.

Julia had a passion for art, reading and gardening. Her goal in life was to always be a good & loving mother to her children.

Julia was the beloved wife of the late Albert, Jr.; dearest mother of Gayle (David) Tarr, Michael (MaryAnne), Judy (Marvin) Baker and Thomas (Jaclyn); devoted grandmother of Melissa (Christopher) Eldred, Courtney, Brittany, Matthew (Heidi) Tarr, Alexander Baker, Grace Baker, Diana, Caleb, Rebecca and great grandmother of Gianna, Kali, Michael and Bryce; dear sister of Eileen (Nick, deceased) Antonino and Merrill Groom; dear aunt of Andrew and Joyce.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Sunday, June 12th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.

The family would like to thank the Ohio Living/Breckenridge staff for their loving care of their mother.
