Joseph L. Formick, age 80, of Willoughby, passed away August 6, 2022. Mr. Formick was born on June 18, 1942 in Cleveland, OH to the late Louis and Mary (nee Gozinsky).

Joseph was a 1961 graduate of Cathedral Latin High School and a parishioner of St. John of the Cross Church. He was a former member of the Wickliffe Italian American Club and the Knights of Columbus.

Joseph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin. He was the top salesman many times when he worked for American General Life where he won many trips and awards. He also had a passion for toy collecting especially for old western toys.

Joseph was the beloved husband of 60 years to Sharon (nee DeVries); dearest father of Louis (Sandra), Teresa (Kevin) Chapman, Anthony, Natalie Lonchor (Fiancé Gary Brown), Angela (Dennis) Rowan, Kathryn, Vincent (Anne-Marie) and Michael; devoted grandfather of 15 and great grandfather of 7; dear brother of Janet (John) DeSanto and Diane (Carl, deceased) Coniglio; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at St. John of the Cross Church 140 Richmond Rd., Euclid, where the family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of mass.
