Mass of Christian Burial for John Vinkler, age 95, of Wickliffe, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Mr. Vinkler passed away peacefully April 24, 2022 and was born on December 5, 1926 in Yugoslavia.

John was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He worked as a machinist for many years and retired from Midwest Screw. John loved gardening very much and spending time outside to look at his flowers that he worked tirelessly to plant.

John was the beloved husband of the late Sofia (nee Vicic); dearest father of John (Patty), Margaret (Duane) Hipp, Nancy (Doug, deceased) Niepokny, Albert (Cheryl) and Kathleen (Devlin) Stermer; devoted grandfather of Pamela, Jennifer, John III, Anthony, Michelle, Nicholas, Timothy, Tiffany, Katie, Ariel, Ian, Connor and great grandfather of 17; dear brother of Teresa Vinkler.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Thursday, April 28th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
