Jean J. (Sabruno) Zook, 83 of Wickliffe, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Born February 27, 1934, Jean was a long-time resident of Wickliffe and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She was a homemaker, and retired in 2000 as a bus driver for Deepwood Transportation. Jean's joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She shared her gift of baking delicious desserts, especially cookies, for all to enjoy. Jean is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert L. Zook; children John (Lou Ann) Zook, Mary Ann (Frank) Sason, and Kathy (Mike) Kobetitsch; grandchildren Jared (Brittney) Vargo, Jenny Sason, Melissa (Bryan) Nerone, Angela Kobetitsch, and Robert (Lucille) Sason; great-grandchildren Brayden and Madilyn Nerone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mary Jennie (Lemmo) Sabruno. Family and friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, at the Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home at 29550 Euclid Avenue, Wickliffe. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 8, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Avenue, Wickliffe. Burial will follow at Mentor Cemetery, Mentor.
