James William Taylor, age 81, of Mentor, passed away September 18, 2022. He was born August 4, 1941 to Harry and Dorothy (nee Harris) Taylor.

Jim grew up in Mayfield Heights, OH where he met Loretta, his wife of 59 years. He was a devoted provider for his family and a proud member of IBEW Local 38, working as an electrician for 43 years at Harrington Electric.

Jim is survived by his wife, Loretta (nee Melaragno); daughters, Deborah Taylor, Karen (Alan) DeAmon, Susan Taylor and Marie (Dan) Michalski; grandchildren, Alex (Lisa) Michalski, Emily Michalski, Steven DeAmon, Bridget Michalski, Ethan Wong, Anders Wong, Matthew DeAmon, and great grandchildren, Nathan and Delilah Michalski; sister, Carole Taylor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lillian Bremer; great grandson Theodore Russell Michalski and brother-in-law Duane Bremer.

The family will receive friends at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, on Wednesday, September 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
