Mass of Christian Burial for Irene A. Wieland, age 77, formerly of Wickliffe, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Irene passed away peacefully June 10, 2025. She was born January 8, 1948 in Cleveland, OH to the late Raymond and Wilma (nee Lippiatt) Hedderman.

Irene was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church where she was also a member of the choir. Early on in her life when she was 15 years old, she decided to enter the convent to become a nun and realized at age 21 that she desired to have a family of her own. Irene was also a former educator and taught in Bronx, NY for one year.

Irene loved working on crossword puzzles, baking, and enjoying picking weeds at her house and everyone else's house as well.

Irene was the beloved wife of the late Allen; dearest mother of Edward, David (Katie Lynch) and Angela (Chuck Wolfe); dear former mother-in-law of Sandy Wieland; devoted grandmother of Joshua and Maxwell Wieland, Mia Wieland and Myles Lynch, Lilian Wieland, Gavin and Skye Wolfe; dear sister of Cecilia (Walker, deceased) Hartman, Jane (Larry, deceased) Arroyo, Marie Netti, Renee (Michael) Kirvelaitis, and of the late Bill Hedderman and Mark Hedderman.

The family will receive friends at THE ORLANDO-DONSANTE-PREVITE FUNERAL HOME 29550 EUCLID AVE., WICKLIFFE, ON THURSDAY, JUNE 19TH FROM 5:00 TO 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp. following mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irene's memory to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 1730 Mt. Carmel Dr., Wickliffe, OH 44092.
