Hilde M. Hura (nee Madler), age 99, of Wickliffe, passed away peacefully April 20, 2024, just three days shy of her 100th birthday. She was born April 23, 1924 in Pottendorf, Austria to late Johann Lach and Maria Madler.

Hilde immigrated to the United States on May 14, 1947 and she retired from Reliance Electric as a cost accountant. She was an avid reader who could read all day long, golfer, in which she still played until she was 94 years old, bowler, and she loved spending as much valuable time as possible with her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Hilde was the beloved wife of the late Michael; dearest mother of Barbara Green; devoted grandmother of Jason (Jenna) Green, Adam (Rebecca Hoff) Green and great grandmother of Myer, Conley and Malin; dear sister of the late Traute Bates.

The family would like to say thank you to the staff of Governor's Village and Traditions Health Hospice for their wonderful care of Hilde.

Per Hilde's wishes, no funeral services will be held.
