Helen Sabruno (nee DeCapua), age 95, passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve. She was born June 22, 1929 in Wickliffe, OH to the late Frank and Angelina (nee Tirabasso) DeCapua.

Helen was caring and loved by all who knew her. She was always the life of the party. Her fun-loving personality brought joy to friends and family. Helen loved music, dancing polkas and drinking her glass of wine. She taught her children and grandchildren the joys of cooking, baking, and many family recipes and traditions that will continue on through the generations.

Helen was a stay-at-home mom so she could raise her five children. Later, she worked for Michelle Dry Cleaners in Wickliffe and then went on to clean houses until she was 78 years old. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she also enjoyed going to the Wickliffe Community Center and occasionally heading out to the casino to play slot machines.

Helen was the beloved wife of 65 years to the late Albert Sabruno; loving mother of Albert (Jeannie) Sabruno, Cheryl (Danny) O'Connell, Glenn (Patty) Sabruno, Larry (Pam) Sabruno and Jeff Sabruno; devoted grandmother of Angela, Jennifer, Marsha, Daniel, Gina, Leah, Jacob, Jodi, Jenna, Kayla, Kyle and great grandmother of 22; dear sister of Frances Dickard and to her late brother's, Peter, Patrick, Louis, Michael and John DeCapua and late sister's Clara Golinski, Rosie Lewis and Theresa Linich.

A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at The Orlando-Donsante-Previte Funeral Home 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of service. Private Inurnment will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens at a later date.
